The Seasense is a luxury motor yacht built by Benetti for a New York based businessman, Charles S Cohen for his private use. The 67m luxury yacht has been custom designed according to the specifications provided by Mr.Cohen. And Seasense features one of the largest swimming pools that you could find on board a luxury motor yacht. AREA, the interior designer of the yacht have provided some stunning range of features in both the interior and exterior sections. Even though the exterior is huge for a luxury yacht, it has been well conceptualized and fully furnished with various sun lounging places and a comfortable and wide shaded dining area.
One of the main emphasis was to a build a yacht reflecting the relationship between the yacht and the environment. And Cor D. Rover, the yacht’s exterior designer, has provided life to it with vast exterior space allowing his family to feel the gentle breeze and the salty scent of the ocean. And it almost took 4 years for Benetti to finish this dream project and most of the interior and exterior is predominantly in blue color to symbolize the sea and the sky. Everything in the Seasense is a work of art and exudes luxury in all. And if you want to enter the sea, you can just use an inflatable water slide to have fun sliding into the sea.
Being a businessman, Mr.Cohen also wanted some extra space to socialize with his business friends and partners. The yacht comes with a big sky lounge along with a main salons and 6 cabins so that the luxury yacht can take up to 12 guests for a fun-filled private cruise. It 6 cabins include a master suite, a VIP stateroom, a twin cabin and 2 double cabins. The luxury yacht can include up to 14 on-board crew and has separate cabins for them.
The Seasense is built with an aluminum superstructure with along with a displacement steel hull. The decks are made using teak wood. The yacht is fitted zero speed stabilizers that allows you to anchor anywhere even if the port is full. These specially designed stabilizers provides the much needed comfort even while the yacht is stationary in rough seas. Most of the luxury yachts feature these zero speed stabilizers as it increases the resale value too.
The Seasense is powered by a couple of 1850 caterpillar diesel engines and propelled using twin-screw propellers. The luxury motor yacht can reach a top speed of up to 15.5 knots and can store around 60000 liters of fresh water.
The yacht oozes with luxury from its on-deck Jacuzzi, zero speed stabilizers, master salon, spacious dining area, elevators, huge 10×4 m swimming pool and many more. And sadly the luxury yacht is only for private use and is not available for charter.
