The interior has been elegantly designed by Andre Fu, an architect based in Hong Kong. He has meticulously designed the interior featuring a beautiful recreation of the ancient rock gardens existed in the 14th century in China. The walls are adorned with classic Chinese ink paintings that add to the beautiful classic landscape in the room. The restaurant is ideal for conducting large business meetings and luncheons. The dishes are beautifully presented as each and every dish comes with a unique flavor.
In the Kitchen
Koo Kwak Hai is the Chef de Cuisine of the Michelin-starred Yu Yuan Chinese restaurant located at the Four Seasons Hotel. Chef Koo has previously worked at the Imperial Treasure the 2-Michelin Star restaurant in Paris. He started his own venture, Yu Yuan in Seoul to fulfil his desire of running his own restaurant.
Chef Koo comes with around 27 years of culinary experience and have worked around the globe in various popular restaurants including Hong Kong, China and Singapore. He is truly a master when it comes to cooking Chinese cuisine using seasonal ingredients to highlight the freshness and the exquisite flavor of each and every ingredient in the dish.
