Tim’s Kitchen is another famous restaurant in Macau that offers some exquisite Cantonese dishes and was founded in 2000 in Hong Kong by Lai Yau Tim. Master Chef Lai is widely acclaimed Cantonese dish “Supreme Snake Bisque” along with many other dishes. Other signature dishes at Tim’s Kitchen are the steamed whole crab claw with winter melon and the all-time favorite the Crystal King prawn.

Chef Lai is popular person in the Cantonese culinary scene and was invited as a guest Chef at a 5 star hotel in Las Vegas to showcase his culinary skills and delicacies to the visiting VIP’s at the hotel. He was also invited by JP Morgan to Singapore to prepare a lavish dinner for a private party hosted by the company. The Michelin star restaurant was open in the Grand Lisboa hotel in Macau in 2007.

Chef Tim Lai was born in Hong Kong in 1949 and started his culinary career at a very young age of 17. He is also considered to be one of the best Cantonese Chefs around the world. While his association with another legendary chef Choi Lee does Chef Tim Lai started to experiment many unique dishes with a modern touch. Chef Tim Lai opened his first restaurant in Hong Kong in 2000 and today runs two more restaurants, one in Shanghai and in Macau.
