It’s not that common that you can see an Indian restaurant being awarded with a Michelin Star, but you have one in Macau, the Golden Peacock. It is the combination of a seasoned menu created using some fine ingredients added with a touch of creativity and authenticity that should have created some interest amongst the Michelin Inspectors. You can also feel a touch of molecular gastronomy present in the menu.
The Michelin Star restaurant is located at the Venetian Macao where the Indian Dhal is a signature dish that you cannot miss out visiting the Golden Peacock. It almost takes 12 hours to meticulously prepare this delicious dhal. The restaurant is equipped with almost 12 chefs from India and along with 5 local chefs and hence you can expect some innovative and unique dishes created by every individual chef. Since India is a diversified country with various states with different cultures and cuisines, the chefs are also brought from various states to bring with their traditional flavors and cuisines. Other signature dish from the Golden Peacock is the Gucchi Shorbha, a kind of soup made using morel mushrooms that are imported from France and flavored using some fresh cumin seeds from India. If you are looking for some fine Indian cuisine in Macau, then you definably cannot moss out on the Golden Peacock.
