Q In the Kitchen

Chef Julien Tongourian started his culinary journey in 1996 and never looked back and has worked in many top fine-dining restaurants including the Restaurant Laurent, Restaurant le Meurice and Les Jalles. His culinary experience landed him the coveted job of the Chef de Cuisine at the L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and after 10 years under the guidance of the master Chef, he was moved to Macau to head the restaurant.

According to Chef Julien, the real success of a restaurant doesn’t having 3 stars to its name, but making the guests happy with exclusive food items. It is about providing them with a premium dining experience and to me that’s what makes his guests happy. When you have happy guests, the team in the Kitchen feels proud and the result is some unique and amazing dishes.

He further states that the 3 Michelin Stars may be awarded to the restaurant for its choice of the finest products along with beautiful interior and exceptional customer service. According to him, each and every dish in the kitchen is meticulously prepared using fresh ingredients sourced from France. The level of excellence that is maintained daily at all the Joel Robuchon restaurants is simply awesome and that is what makes the Joel Robuchon restaurants to be the best place to enjoy fine-dining in a premium environment.
