Located on the 3rd floor of the Four Seasons Restaurant, the Mio restaurants offers a high-quality French dining experience. Mio means “my” in Italian is a restaurant that is both stylish and elegant and the men behind in the kitchen work hard to make your dining experience unique and extravagant.
The Italian restaurant also comes with a 12-seater private dining room that offers mesmerizing city views along with fine wines reeling the shelves. There is no dress code for the restaurant, but to enter a place of such extravagance you cannot be nothing short of extraordinary. Although situated amidst the buzzling city of Beijing, when you enter the Mio restaurant, you’ll be immediately transported to Italy with its original Italian flavors.
When coming to the classic menu of Mio, you can find all kinds of Italian delicious food including the Caprese Salad, minestrone soup, pepperoni pizza and the Wagyu Bolognese. And when you are in Mio, you cannot miss out on the signature dish, the white pizza, that is ultra delicious.
Chef Aniello Turco started his culinary career at the early age of 13 at his parent’s restaurants and learned the basics of cooking from them. With a strong passion and dedication for cooking developed right form hi early age, Chef Turco decided to venture out from his family restaurant and to gain more knowledge about international cuisine, he started working under the Masters in this business, the legendary Alain Ducasse in Paris.
Having met Chef Marco Calenzo, the former Chef de Cuisine of Mio in London, he was offered the Sous Chef position in Apsleys and Chef Turco gladly accepted the offer. He pushed further to know the boundaries of the culinary world, he joined Michelin Starred restaurants in Noma, Copenhagen. And it was under the guidance of master Chefs at Noma could Chef Turco understand all about the process of fermentation and about the natural transformation of food which paved a way for understanding more about the ingredients and preparation skills.
According to Chef Aniello, the future of cuisine has arrived and has set its sights in the kitchens around the world and hence it is time to shy away from older way and innovate new techniques and styles to completely transform the way of cooking. But whatever happens everything should be done organically without the use of much chemicals.
