It is not an easy road for Chef Chan Yan Tak to get the most coveted award in the culinary Industry, the Michelin Star. And Chef Yan Tak has got 3 of them for his innovative thinking and presentation of his cuisine that has enthralled customers for a long time.
Born and brought up in Hong Kong, Chef Chan started his career in his early days due to necessity. With years of experience and the passion for cooking along with formal training in many restaurants molded Chef Chan into a seasoned person. He served a lot of years in the Regent Hong Kong and took a break from the kitchen to take of his youngest child after his wife passed away. But he returned back as executive Chef to Four Seasons by GM of Four Seasons, William Mackay.
It was a great decision taken by Chef Chan in believing him and in return the Chinese Chef resumed his journey in flying colors with 3 Michelin Stars. But the Chef is humble enough to point out that getting the Stars would not be possible without the help of his support staff who were y his side for many years running.
