The L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon series of restaurants located in Tokyo, Paris and London have all be awarded with multiple Michelin Stars. But the one in Hong Kong comes with the most Michelin Stars and has been featuring the list of Asia’s best 50 Restaurants for many years running.
It is one of the most renowned French restaurants in Hong Kong serving some scrumptious foods amidst a restaurant with some striking décor. Some of the signature dishes that you can’t miss while eating at the L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon are the Free-range Quail with Foie Gras, Wagyu Beef Sirloin and Caramelized Cream Custard with Pistachio and Cacao.
The Joël Robuchon’s restaurant is categorized into special dining sections including the Le Jardin and the L’Atelier, where you can find some modern French cuisine being served at the former and some exemplary French classic can enthrall your taste buds at the L’Atelier. Born in Paris, Chef David Alves began his culinary career in his hometown and with his passion for cooking and hard work at restaurants like Au Comte de Gascogne and Hôtel Plaza Athénée, he could master his culinary skills to a great extent. He then got an offer to serve as the Sous Chef in 2001 in the L'Atelier Etoile de Joël Robuchon in Paris. He slowly began to climb his way up and in 2014, he was offered to head the restaurant in Hong Kong.
