The 2-Michelin Star Chinese Fine dining restaurant, Jade Dragon is located on the 2nd floor of the Forbes Five-Star Nüwa Hotel within the popular Casino Complex in Macau, the City of Dreams. Opened in 2012, the Chinese restaurant got its first Michelin Star in 2014 and the second in 2016. Headed by Chef Tam Kwok Fung, who is a gold medal winner at the World Championship of Chinese Cooking competition in 2005 and also previously helmed the kitchen at the Michelin-starred Ying restaurant in Macau.

The main dining room at the Jade Dragon can seat a maximum of 60 guests and the tables are well spread out throughout the room. There are also 11 private dining rooms that can seat another 150 guests totally in those rooms. Since private dining is a kind of tradition among the Chinese you can find a lot of these many restaurants in china.

The private rooms can also be accessed through a private lift from the Nüwa Hotel and each room boasts of the Chinese culture and tradition with medicinal elements and artifacts placed on the curved walls. The large floor to ceiling windows provide for a great view of the outdoor and the dishes are exceptional including the goose grilled over lychee wood, barbecued Iberico pork along with tasty soups filed with Chinese herbs.

Jade Dragon is one of the favorite Chinese restaurants in Macau mainly because of the out of the world culinary made using fresh and seasonal ingredients by Chef Tam Kwok Fung. With outstanding food exquisite décor and excellent customer service, Jade Dragon definitely sets very high standards in Chinese fine dining in Macau.

The 2-Michelin Star restaurant the Tasting Room is a popular French restaurant in France located at level 3 of the Forbes Five-Star Nüwa Hotel in the City of Dreams casino complex. It was opened in 2012 by chef and owner Guillaume Galliot who has been sous chef in Raffles Grill restaurant in Singapore and also the famous Jaan restaurant in Beijing before starting his own. He was also trained at the Jardins des Sens.

Enter the Tasting room and you can see large bar area to the left and the dining hall to the right. The wine racks are filled with some of the finest collection of wines sourced from around the globe. The room is beautifully carpeted that not only complements the décor, but also lowers the noise levels to a great extent. The tables are well-spaced out and covered with neat white tablecloths.

If you are looking for the best French restaurant in Macau, then you cannot miss out on the Tasting Room that provides you with the best French cuisine made using fresh and seasonal ingredients.  The dining hall is large and circular shaped and comes with plush carpeting and walls draped in matching curtains and a beautiful modern rope chandelier on top. The art nouveau glassware was inspiring as the 2-Michelin star restaurant provides for a high-end dining experience. The menu started with a glass of Champagne Fleury Blanc de Noir that was beautifully blended only using black grapes and proved to be a great start for the evening.

Joel Robuchon is considered to be one of the best chefs in the world and own a series of restaurants around the globe. The 3-Micheling star restaurant in Macau, the Robuchon au Dôme is located in the dome of the beautiful Grand Lisboa Hotel. The restaurant is situated at a height of 238 meters and hence you can have a spectacular view of Macau. The Robuchon au Dôme is also much acclaimed for its extensive wine collection with over 16,800 labels to choose from and if you are a wine lover, you cannot miss out the Robuchon au Dôme as the restaurant bagged the much coveted “Grand Award” presented by Wine Spectator in 2005 for its exclusive wine collection.

The Robuchon au Dôme offers some exclusive dishes and the French gastronomic menu is one of the best you can get in Macau. The menu has been carefully designed by the master craftsman Chef Joel Robuchon. The dining hall at the restaurant is amazing with an awe-inspiring crystal light chandelier hanging in the middle of the ceiling and the interesting aspect about the chandelier is that it is made using over 131,500 Swarovski crystals.

You only have a couple of 3-Michelin star restaurants in Macau, one is the Robuchon au Dôme and the other is the Eight. And both these premium fine-dining restaurants are housed in the same Grand Lisboa Hotel. Located in the second floor of the hotel, you need to cross the lavish and crowded lobby of the Grand Lisboa hotel, one of the biggest and flashiest hotels in Macau. No matter wherever you are in Macau, you can easily spot the Grand Lisboa Hotel with its opulent silver and golden color.

Opened in 2007, the Eight is the only Chinese restaurant in Macau that boasts of 3 Michelin Stars. Te dining area is spacious with beautiful marble flooring and tables with mother pearl inlays add to the opulence of the room. The dining room can easily accommodate a maximum of 156 guests at a time and there are also several private dining rooms as it is part of Chinese culture to dine in private.

The lavish interior was designed by the famous Hong Kong designer Alan Chan using a concept that mainly focuses on the Chinese tradition and culture as you can see a beautiful goldfish motif adorning the walls of the dining room. The restaurant shares one of the largest wine cellar in Macau with over 16,800 labels.

The restaurants mainly offers Cantonese food along with signature dishes like French duck breast with ginger and honey sauce that pairs well with the steamed coconut rice. Some of the other signature dishes include the Buddha Jumping over the wall, Stir-fried Australian Lobster with Egg, Minced Pork and Black Bean, Suckling Pig filled with Fried Rice and Preserved Meat, Barbecue Pork.

Eight is also known for offering some 40 variants of dim sum including the Steamed Dumplings with Cristal Blue Shrimps in Goldfish Shape, Four Types of Steamed “Shanghainese” Dumplings, Crispy Barbecued Pork Buns with Preserved Vegetables, Steamed Dumplings with Abalone and Pork, Puff Pastry with River Shrimp in Purse Shape.

The Mizumi restaurant in Macau is one of the finest Japanese restaurants in Macau that is renowned for having some of the 3 finest Michelin starred chefs creating some of the best Japanese cuisine that you can ever taste outside of Japan. It has slowly established itself as one of the best restaurants in Macau.

The 3 star chefs in Mizumi include the 2-Michelin Star Chef Tsutomu Shimamiya, a highly renowned Japanese sushi chef known for his sushi’s that are specially made using traditional edomae style. Another chef, Michelin Starred Kazuhito Motoyoshi at the Mizumi runs his own restaurant in Japan called the Tempura Motoyoshi known for creating some of the best tempuras. The 3r chef Junichi Yoshida runs a Michelin star restaurant called the Ishigaki Yoshida, a Michelin Star restaurant famous for their tenderloin steaks.

All these 3 chefs combined to create the new menu at the Mizumi that consists of traditional Japanese dishes made using seasonal ingredients sourced right from Japan. These chefs supervises the other chefs who have trained with them execute their plans in action.

Mizumi also modified its interior recently with a traditional red/white design with a stunning dogami sculpture designed by the artist Gerardo Hacer welcoming the guests at the entrance. The artwork is also excellent created by famous Japanese artist, Sush Machida. The restaurant consists of small and large dining rooms and also provides three different types of cuisine including sushi, tempura and teppanyaki.
