Lurssen, one of the world’s popular shipbuilder started Project Mistral, a codename for building the private luxury yacht, Amadea in September 2013. It was delivered after several modifications after a period of 32 months in April 2016 to its owner. The Amadea measures around 106 m in length and was designed by the famous luxury yacht designer Espen Oeino. Once it was delivered it certainly attracted a lot of attention in the luxury yacht circle even when not much of it details were revealed either Lurssen or by its owner. Most of the details were brought based on photos taken by other yacht enthusiasts and journalists. And Amadea certainly stands among the top 40 super luxury yachts in the world.

Amadea comes with a steel hull and is built based on an aluminum superstructure and was mainly built based on the Lloyd’s Registry classification. The luxury superyacht comes with a gross tonnage of 2999GT and also features large helicopter pad along with a huge swimming pool. There are also many luxury amenities provided in the Amadea as some were customized and created based on the request by its owner. The 106 m long luxury yacht makes the Amadea as one of the largest luxury superyachts in the world. The Amadea was built in the company’s Rendsburg Shipyard in Germany.

The luxury superyacht also comes equipped with zero-speed stabilizers, so that even when the ship is in anchor you would feel any kind of wobbly feeling and also when the ship is cruising in rough waters. Zero-speed stabilizers are commonly featured in most of the luxury superyachts being designed in the last couple of years as these take the on-board comfort to the next level. When it comes to luxury and comfort, Amadea is abundant with it as you can land in the Amadea directly from a helicopter as the luxury superyacht is equipped with a large helicopter pad. The Super luxury Yacht Jupiter, now christened Al Lusail, is one of the crown jewels of the German Ship maker, Lurssen. And it has been custom designed based on a private order and is not available for charter. The exterior design of the luxury yacht was handled by the H2 Yacht design, a popular yacht design firm based in London and the interior by March & White. The Jupiter comes with a sporty and a luxurious look on the outside and largely complements the design of other luxury yachts built by Lurssen including the Dibar and Azzam. And Lurssen has been in the business of ship-building for many years now and is one of the leading luxury yacht builders known for its exquisite craftsmanship and design.

The Jupiter is said to be built on a foundation made of displacement steel hull covered by an aluminum superstructure. And the luxury yacht takes luxury to the next level, as all decks in the ship are fitted with zero-speed stabilizers” which means that you don’t have any jerk or shake even while your ship is at anchor or docked in your port. Even on rough seas, you never feel kind of wobbling or shake inside the yacht. Even though there is not much details on how many guests it can accommodate, for such a huge luxury yacht, it can certainly accommodate a lot of guests along with the substantial number of crew members. The exterior of Jupiter resembles more like a luxury sports car than a superyacht.

Amenities of the Lurssen Al Lusail Super-Yacht

The Jupiter is filled with a lot of amenities that the luxury yacht contains a fully equipped gym, movie theatre along with elevator to travel between the decks. Jupiter also comes with a swimming pool, a large swimming platform and air conditioning in most parts of the yacht except the open areas. The yacht also comes with a beauty parlor for guests. And to add the cherry to the cake, the yacht also comes with a fully equipped helipad to allow guests to reach the yacht directly from anywhere and safely land their helicopters. The helipad is located near the bow of the super yacht. The luxury yacht also comes with underwater lights to provide a spectacular view at night.

Since it is made as a private luxury yacht, we could not get much details about other amenities and features of the superyacht like its size of the motor, engine model, power, speed etc. the only information we have is that the yacht is about 403 feet in length and the center beam is around 20m height.

The Seasense is a luxury motor yacht built by Benetti for a New York based businessman, Charles S Cohen for his private use. The 67m luxury yacht has been custom designed according to the specifications provided by Mr.Cohen. And Seasense features one of the largest swimming pools that you could find on board a luxury motor yacht. AREA, the interior designer of the yacht have provided some stunning range of features in both the interior and exterior sections. Even though the exterior is huge for a luxury yacht, it has been well conceptualized and fully furnished with various sun lounging places and a comfortable and wide shaded dining area.

One of the main emphasis was to a build a yacht reflecting the relationship between the yacht and the environment. And Cor D. Rover, the yacht’s exterior designer, has provided life to it with vast exterior space allowing his family to feel the gentle breeze and the salty scent of the ocean. And it almost took 4 years for Benetti to finish this dream project and most of the interior and exterior is predominantly in blue color to symbolize the sea and the sky. Everything in the Seasense is a work of art and exudes luxury in all. And if you want to enter the sea, you can just use an inflatable water slide to have fun sliding into the sea.

Being a businessman, Mr.Cohen also wanted some extra space to socialize with his business friends and partners.  The yacht comes with a big sky lounge along with a main salons and 6 cabins so that the luxury yacht can take up to 12 guests for a fun-filled private cruise. It 6 cabins include a master suite, a VIP stateroom, a twin cabin and 2 double cabins. The luxury yacht can include up to 14 on-board crew and has separate cabins for them.

The Seasense is built with an aluminum superstructure with along with a displacement steel hull. The decks are made using teak wood. The yacht is fitted zero speed stabilizers that allows you to anchor anywhere even if the port is full. These specially designed stabilizers provides the much needed comfort even while the yacht is stationary in rough seas. Most of the luxury yachts feature these zero speed stabilizers as it increases the resale value too.

The Seasense is powered by a couple of 1850 caterpillar diesel engines and propelled using twin-screw propellers. The luxury motor yacht can reach a top speed of up to 15.5 knots and can store around 60000 liters of fresh water.
